Moshe's Restaurant in Dunwoody
By PAUL FLEXNER
New Kosher eatery proves to be a winner in the eyes of local patrons.
There is an old adage that says that Good News is always worth sharing. So, let us share with you the Good News that Dunwoody is delighted to be the home of the newest KOSHER meat restaurant in Greater Atlanta, Moshe’s. Opened just before the new year started, Moshe and Jodi Bengighi have been warmly welcoming people during lunch and dinner almost every day – except for Shabbat and Saturday night.
On our first visit, we enjoyed a delightful dinner with our friends from Long Island. Their only comment was that they wished there was such a delightful place near them on the south shore.
Knowing that one visit does not make a restaurant a true success, we have returned and returned and the quality of the food and service continues to improve. We particularly enjoyed the kebabs, both beef and chicken along with a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and excellent fries. Everything is very fresh and prepared on premises which assures that the quality is there to stay.

But, the highlight was watching them bake their own Pita in an Israeli Pita oven which everyone agrees is among the best we've ever had and certainly the best in Atlanta. As they often say, fresh baked breads make any meal extra special.
For those who don't enjoy the finer things in life, there are many
options in the non-meat category including fish, soups and vegetarian plates.
Yes, this is an Israeli style "steakery" with much that we Americans and many of our Israeli friends will find to our liking and tastes.
Let's all join together to make this a successful new business in our Jewish community - that just happens to be down the street from my home in Dunwoody.

Moshe's is located at 2486-A Mount Vernon Road in Dunwoody. You can find it easily in the little shopping center on Mt. Vernon and North Peachtree Road between the CVS and the former Ace Hardware (across Dunwoody Club from the Orchard Park Kroger).
