Rising Industry Star Launches Levy Tax & Consulting
Levy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Levy Tax & Consulting opens with a total of five professionals.
After more than 16 years addressing the needs of businesses and individuals, Levy established the new firm to follow the advice he has long offered clients – to “go for it,” and create their vision of an ideal business.
For Levy, that meant building an accounting firm using cutting edge technology for his clients that will enable the firm to truly be a trusted and strategic business partner to clients.
“After years gaining midsized firm experience, observing industry practices and formulating my ideal for a great accounting firm, I felt it was time to follow my own dream and vision of a CPA firm that stays up with technology and proactively works with our clients. Doing so saves our clients money and helps them run their businesses more effectively,” said Levy.
“We are launching our web organizers, client portals and looking into other ways to increase efficiency. So far, our clients are thrilled,” he added.
Longtime clients include prominent law firms, multiple office physician groups, consultants, engineers, promotional products companies, real estate firms and start-up technology companies, among others.
In addition to its business clients, Levy Tax & Consulting will assist high-net worth individuals in preparing their personal tax returns. Areas of expertise include multiple state filings, partnership and self-employed taxation, real estate rental and sales transactions.
A native of Columbus, Ga., Levy has lived in Atlanta since 1994.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia in Athens. Levy lives in Dunwoody with his wife of 11 years, Andrea, and his three children, Sydney, Jordan and Molly. In addition to coaching youth soccer, Levy is vice president of his neighborhood swim tennis club.
