Suspicious Package Left at Israeli Consulate
Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24 a suspicious package at the Israeli Consulate offices on Spring Street in Midtown shut down the building and Atlanta police were on the scene. According to consulate spokesperson Karen Isenberg Jones, Consul General Opher Aviran had no comment.
A source inside the consulate told AtlantaJewishNews.com, "No one has been harmed, evacuation was a precaution."
