Henrietta Schneider Morse

Henrietta Schneider Morse, accomplished a great deal in her lifetime: she graduated from Skidmore College, then received her Bachelor of Laws degree from Brooklyn Law School, she traveled extensively both here and abroad. In that day, the 1930s, she was one of the few women to accomplish this. During WWII, she was an insurance claims adjuster, taught foreign war brides English and formed garden clubs. Because Captain Morse was in the US Air Force, the Morse family had numerous homes, both in the US and overseas in Morocco. Upon her husband's retirement, they took a month long trip to Athens, Greece, Vienna, Austria and then to Israel on the state's 25th anniversary. A life well lived and fully enjoyed, Henrietta exemplified the intellectual ideal, ever interested in everything she could read or experience. Survived by her daughter, Melissa Morse Goodman (Ronald), son, David Morse (Shayna), granddaughter, Jessica Goodman, Mountain View, CA and sister, Betty Schneider Brown, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
