Fran Memberg, Features AJN

   As Community and Features editor of the Atlanta Jewish Times for 11 years until December 2009, Fran Memberg is best known for her weekly “Simcha Spotlight” articles that shared the inspiring, poignant, heart-warming, funny or otherwise interesting stories about the events surrounding a lifecycle occasion. She also informed the community about Jewish activities and lifecycles, and contributed articles about Jewish community members who made the news.

    The Pennsylvania native has lived in metro Atlanta since 1972. While raising her family, she applied her public relations and journalism skills to volunteer work for a number of Jewish organizations before tapping into her many community connections in her role at the Atlanta Jewish Times.
